Lifespan Religious Education
Religious Education Consultant
The Program Consultant meets with a variety of people in congregations who want to enhance their understanding of and commitment to lifespan faith development. The Consultant:
- works with religious education professionals, church Religious Education committees, search committees, youth groups, young adult groups, and adult R.E. committees
- meets with Religious Educators in cluster groups, two times a year with ministers, and various other times with congregational leaders
- Oversees and consults with district youth-adult organizations
- leads workshops on all aspects of lifespan religious education, family ministry, youth and young adult leadership development, safe congregations, and speaks in churches
- publishes a quarterly, R.E. Connections, with issues of interest to religious educators, Autumn, Winter, Spring, Summer
- maintains a large lending library of books, curricula, tapes and videos
- creates resources
